Why I became a reiki practitioner
I decided to become a Reiki practitioner after a change in life circumstances that then gave me the chance to think about what I really wanted to do with my life, I always knew I loved the idea of having a career where I am helping people even if in some small way but up to this point I never really found my path until I discovered reiki.
Â
Becoming a reiki practitioner has been a journey of discovery and healing for myself and having a close family member with cancer has especially ignited a fire and passion within myself. I realised that we can all take charge of our own health and wellbeing and that both conventional medicine and holistic therapies can work beautifully together. I have personally seen how the two together alongside a healthy diet can make such a difference. Â

My business logo has a sunflower in it, sunflowers are associated with the sun as they follow the light throughout the day and the sun is a universal source of life, which felt like a great symbol for the universal life force of Reiki! As sunflowers always turn towards the light it is a great reminder that whenever we face difficult circumstances we can do the same and there is always hope of renewal and a new beginning.  Â
